CAAA’s 68th Annual Convention is scheduled for November 13-15, 2017 at the Hyatt Regency Monterey. 

After a long, hot summer, we are heading to Monterey for some rest & relaxation with your fellow ag pilots. Our program is designed to keep our pilots up-to-date on the latest and greatest in Aerial Application Technology and Industry updates. We have numerous sessions to help you mitigate drift and increase your awareness of regulatory issues. We are excited to be offering a special Compaass Rose session this year. It will review the different perspectives that newer and experienced pilots have with the hopes of finding common ground to build a dialogue for the future of the industry. Additionally, we have a session to increase your knowledge with the latest updates on Bee Health. On Wednesday, we are excited to host the NAAA PAASS program. Every year, this session is the highpoint for many attendees.

Our industry is stronger when we come together and our Exhibit Hall is a great place to socialize and catch up with fellow pilots and suppliers.

    Getting There


    Monterey is located on the Central Coast of California. For those driving in, most will take Hwy 101 to Hwy 156 and then Hwy 1.


    San Jose International Airport is 72 miles while Monterey Regional Airport hosts the following airlines: Alaska Airlines, American Airlines, United Airlines. 


    Continuing Education Credits

    We are expecting 14-15 CE hours from CDPR. Also, CE credit is being requested from AZ, OR, NM, ID, WA, and TX. Participants interested in receiving full credit must attend all seminars, signing in and out daily.

    Please notify CAAA staff when you register if you require CE hours for states outside of California. Please note: CE approval requirements are different depending on each state. 

    If you require all 20 DPR CEUs to renew, you will need to search for additional courses to meet your requirement. Contact the CAAA office if you need assistance.
